Bobby
In 2008, Bobby M. Rouse penned an article for ESSENCE magazine entitled “No Love for Mr. Nice”, proclaiming his woes in the difficulty of finding his Mrs. Right, even while living in a city filled with a plethora of educated, successful, “got it together” sisters, Atlanta.
The article generated thousands of e-mails from women across the country who either wanted to meet him or give him their opinions on his views. The content in the e-mails ranged from strong encouragement to mild agreement to outright solicitation. Amazingly, one of those emails led Bobby to meet his future wife, Erica, a former NFL cheerleader and Texas beauty queen.
Bobby has a background as diverse as his personality. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, he served 2 years in the United States Air Force and traveled the world as a pro-athlete, playing professional basketball for 6 years before injury shortened his career. Bobby, known by many as the guy “With Too Much Personality” or the guy who “Always has Something to Say” has appeared in ESSENCE and is often a guest panelist on various radio and internet talk shows and relationship panels.

Using his experiences from over the years of meaningless relationships, a failed engagement and countless dates, he uses his vast knowledge to help women understand why they may be having a hard time attracting and keeping a true “Mr. Right”.
While not always politically correct, Bobby’s philosophy on relationships is always interesting and on point. His dialogue emphasizes the missed opportunities between men and women who at the end of the day both want the same thing: a stable committed relationship with a partner to travel through life with.
A profound public speaker, Bobby loves to share his life experiences with the masses. The father of two teenage daughters, Bobby has a passion for mentoring teenagers into their young adult years, by helping them successfully navigate the pitfalls and growing pains of life. Bobby is penning his first book “The Online Chronicles”, which details some of the best emails, letters and debates generated from his ESSENCE article, while residing in Houston, TX and enjoying life as a newlywed.
